This is the daybook of the firm of Cloud and Gaines, Druggists of Lexington, Kentucky. The volume contains entries for the sale of such items as epsom salts, opium, calomel, laudanum, and castor oil. Included are entries for sales to Dr. Daniel Drake, who was then teaching medicine at Transylvania University.
